How to write quality content? A complete Guide

Every Blog should follow Bill Gates phrase “Content is King” to become successful. Since the competition in the Blogging world is high and people do not have enough time to read lengthy but poor posts so you should have to write content which has quality and content which has attraction.
Making content user friendly is called content optimization.
To get high ranking in SERPs people were over-optimizing their content which was a big source of irritation for both readers and search engines, Thanks to Matt Cutts and Google who have introduced many algorithms to make sure that the quality of the content is not compromised.
Since Google slogan for Bloggers is “write for readers instead of search engines” from a long time, people around the internet who own a website or Blog are more focusing on making good content rather than over optimizing it.
Today I will gather up all the knowledge I have get till now about quality content in this post. And by the way collecting info from other blogs and then reconstructing is called content curation which also has a great importance in Blogging field.
So here are my tips about writing quality content which is both User and Search Engine friendly.

Using Good titles

The first thing we do when start writing a post is that we make a title for our article. A title which is smartly written can help you to get better ranking in SERPs. What people do is that they never use relevant keywords for their articles. Yesterday, I was reading a blog about andriod apps and the author was a very big fool because he had spoil all his efforts because just of a stupid title which nor help people to understand that what is the post about and neither search engines.
The post was very well written but the title wasn’t relevant to the content. The title was “Say Cheese, Because the most awaited app is here”. Really it has nothing to do with the content. The author must had used the right keywords in his post’s title.
For Example: “Andriod users welcome (this app)”. If he would had done this it would be better for him because the first thing from which a reader is attracted is a post title.
So make relevant titles which are describing your content and they have a decent keyword in it.
You can use Google Keyword Planner to get a good keyword for your post which is very popular in search engines.

A Good Introduction with Suspense

After setting up an attracting title for your post the next thing we need to do is to build a solid introduction which will help reader to know that what he can learn in your post.
You can use “what you will learn” headings to tell your readers that what you will teach them in your post. And as far as suspense is concerned you can use many suspensive phrases in your introduction. For Example : Lets say you are righting about getting traffic for a blog then you can use a small phrase “Don’t miss the middle part of the post where I have revealed my trick to get 1000 visitors free in 1 day”. See it makes suspense. People do want to know that how can they earn 1000 visitors in a day and they will probably spent more time on your article to know your trick. But make sure that you have bold your special phrase to get your readers eye caught into it. They will see bold text with more concentration because they know that something is special here.
Tell them a little bit of history of your topic which you are writing about in introduction and some hidden facts that you know about your post’s niche.

Using of Images

Perhaps the best trick to keep engage your audience is to insert good and attracting photos and images in your content. Using images with connotations will make your readers feel good because everyone of us like to see images. For Example I am writing this post about Quality Content then using this image will help me to make sure that my readers are engaged with my content.
quality content
Sometime images say more than your words.

Building Secrecy

Secrets have suspense and this is the best thing a blogger has to attract readers and to convert them into Subscribers. Once you have a decent amount of traffic on your Blog you can turn your readers into your Blog subscribers by just building a good Subscribe us form and asking them to subscribe your blog. You can use some phrases like this “Hey, Subscribe our Newsletter to get our upcoming post first in your inbox which is about Link Building”.
As far as building secrecy in content is concerned you can introduce your upcoming articles by adding some attractive titles for it. Lets say your next article will be about Link Building then your article can be that “How I build 300 links in 5 minutes?” or use “P.S” message in the end of your post which will help you to get your audience back when you publish a new article.

Do On-page SEO for your content

You should make sure that your keyword density is fine in your article. You should not over use your keyword in your content because this will lead you to a Panda penalty.
And you can’t just avoid using your keyword in your content because this will not help Search Engine spiders to figure out that what your content is about.
If you are a WordPress user you can use many plugins to get assistance for your On-Page SEO.

Don’t promote false claims and black hat tricks

One thing which you should never forget in your Blogging career is that you must not promote black hat tricks to get any benefit. Promoting these tricks not only decreases your Blog reputation to your loyal users but also compromise the quality of the content.
Don’t ever engage with a affiliate program which does some hypothetical claims that they will help people to earn 1 million dollars in 2 minutes because we all know that their claim isn’t right but people still promote them for just a few commissions and unfortunately some of their readers follow them and get scammed.
This mistake is amongst 8 mistakes that can ruin your Blogging career and can lead you to Prison.

Share credible sources in your content to support your true claim

Making a claim is easy but making people believe in it isn’t that easy. Since internet world has been scammed several times in several fields people are very sensitive in following programs especially new programs.
That is why that when you share an article on your Blog which has some new claims people don’t believe you. Because none of them know you and neither will implement your trick. You should build authority for your Blog and must become a brand or influencer of your niche.
To make them believe in your words you should use relevant sources to support your claim. For Example if you are publishing an article to promote a link building company then you must share their customers’s experience on your article by just inserting their tweets about the company in your post or you can link to a page which have all the compliments of their customers in a single page.
If you are posting an article about a specific company then link the source from which you got the information.

Don’t over use optin forms

This is a thing which irritates me the most. Whenever I am reading a post and author has put an optin form in his post several times, it makes me irritated which lead me to leave the page.
Over using these optin forms can make your readers feel like they are just a money making opportunity for you. Despite the fact they are but still you should not make them feel this.
Remember don’t let your users know that you need them  just for a few impressions. Make them feel that they are everything for your Blog. By adding thank you messages in the end of your post.

Use Infographics

Using Infographics will help your readers to understand that what you are talking about again images say more than words. You can download many infographs for your topic from pinterest and from other relevant websites.
What these Infographs do is that they explain your whole post in just a few sights. But placing them on your article is the most important thing. If you will place an infograph in the very beginning of your post then people may just see it and leave your page.
You should always place the infograph in the very end of your article to make sure that your reader doesn’t run after getting his self entertained by the Infograph.

Link your other articles with your recent one

This will not just help your reader to get a better know how of your topic but will help you a lot in getting a few extra impressions from your user. Lets say you linked one of your old articles to the new one and your reader open it up then your bounce rate will also decrease which is a very good sign for your Blog.
This will also build a good internal structure of your internal links which will help Google spiders to know that what or which post is the most important one. If a post is linked several times Google spiders will think that this page have authority which will help you to get better ranking in SERPs. These type of links are called inbound links. And as I said earlier it is a great way to make your readers keep engaged with your content but make sure that the content you have linked is a high quality content otherwise your readers will leave both of your pages and this will not leave a good impact on them.

Read your Post after writing

You should read your article after typing it to make sure that you haven’t done any spelling or Grammar mistakes in it.
Sometimes a few spelling or grammar mistakes make your content hard to be understood by the people who are reading it. Use easy and simple words in your article which can be understood by anyone.
Use WordPress Spell checker to rectify spelling mistakes and read your content yourself to avoid Grammar mistakes.
